Independence In Flight

This was a fun shot; I shot it off the deck of the aircraft carrier Yorktown on the 4th of July prior to the biggest fireworks display I've seen. Lots of wildlife in the Charleston Harbor; I probably spent as much time snapping shots of it as I did on the ships and fireworks; of all the poses I captured I liked this one the most. Looking back i'm surprised i caught it with a 50mm. I really do have to go back sometime it was alot of fun.
