It was a windy day but we had a great turnout, I'm very impressed that we had such a fun event!
I got a little sunburnt but despite that I really enjoyed shooting, this is one of the major yardsticks that I use to compare by work from year to year; I can tell I'm much more comfortable getting out there in a crowd and asking for a smile to get a nice shot.  I also got to experiment with the 7D's video capabilities, I'm much less of a pro at that (it really is a another world of skills) but it's nice to be able to get a few clips here and there.

I'm in love with the Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS which i rented for the event, I'm def getting this one; it's the perfect carrying around lens, wide enough to get a group, zoom enough to get a closeup; IS to help you out enough that your video clips are reasonably stable even without lugging around a tripod! :)
